14th February 2020, Munich: International Cyber- Panel

International Cyber-Panel

„No borders, no limits? – How can we take back control in cyberspace?”

When: Friday, 14th February 2020, 10:00am – 1:00 pm, Doors open at 09:30

Where: Munich

The current debate about 5G is a good example of the dilemma regarding cybersecurity. Many countries are struggling with their IT systems due to a lack of knowledge, technological know-how and human resources, but also due to the lack of transparency of existing IT solutions. To take back control over IT systems technological, solutions like open code and test labs are required. But such solutions also need to be accompanied by common international regulations and an international trust platform. But how could all this look like? Do we require a European Cyber Union and how could we involve all non-European partners?

Therefore, during our annual cyber-panel in the run-up to Munich Security Conference, we would like to discuss with you and experts from Germany, Switzerland, Estonia, the United States and the Netherlands as speakers.

Our panel with a limited number of participants takes place for the seventh time in the run-up to Munich Security Conference. This event is open for members and selected guests only. Please register by e-mail before the 7th of February 2020: patzer@cybersicherheitsrat.de (contact: Florian Till Patzer, Presidium office manager).

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Munich.
