In today’s live interview on WELT TV, Hans-Wilhelm Dünn criticized the slow efforts of the Ministry of the Interior to expand the BSI into a central office for cyber security. In view of the growing threat situation in cyberspace and a geopolitically unstable situation, he said, valuable time is being lost to strengthen IT security in the economy, critical infrastructure and administration. The upgrading of the BSI must be given concrete form with concepts and implemented more quickly, he said.
