i:sec & Law | Information Security in Practice

April 30

The new conference series “Information Security in Practice” brings together experts from law, technology, product development, and compliance. The focus is on interdisciplinary exchange, practical insights, and collaborative problem-solving for current challenges in the field of information security.

The inaugural event is dedicated to the current state of the NIS2 Directive’s implementation in Germany. What specific requirements will companies and institutions face? What experiences are businesses gaining during the implementation of ISMS, supply chain management, or incident response? And how can legal mandates be implemented in a meaningful and pragmatic way?

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • In-depth insights into key aspects of the NIS2 Directive – legal, organizational, and technical.
  • Practical reports from companies already implementing regulatory requirements.
  • Workshops and moderated discussions to share experiences, clarify questions, and learn from one another.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Informationssicherheitsbeauftragte
  • In-house Legal Counsel
  • Product Owners
  • Compliance Teams
  • Data Protection Officers (DPOs)
  • And everyone who wants to do more than just manage information security—but actively shape it.

WHAT MAKES THIS CONFERENCE UNIQUE:

This event bridges legal, technical, and organizational perspectives—deliberately breaking down professional silos. Peer-to-peer exchange is an integral component: experiential knowledge meets regulatory expertise and concrete implementation scenarios. Consequently, the conference allocates significant time for participant interaction and networking.
