On 5 February 2026, the KOMI Future Workshop at Wizemann Stuttgart brought together leading voices from politics, business, and the security community to discuss key future issues surrounding resilience, digital sovereignty, and cybersecurity.
We were particularly honored to welcome Dr. iur. Inese Lībiņa-Egnere Minister of Justice of the Republic of Latvia, as a distinguished international speaker. Her contribution impressively highlighted how closely the rule of law, security policy, and digital stability are interconnected today.
IT security as a corporate responsibility.
The opening keynote was delivered by Hans-Wilhelm Dünn, President of Cyber-Sicherheitsrat Deutschland e.V. (Cyber Security Council Germany e.V.). In his address, he strategically assessed the current threat landscape and outlined the concrete impact that cyber risks, regulatory developments, and geopolitical tensions have on companies. His core message: cybersecurity is no longer merely an IT issue, but a matter of corporate responsibility, resilience, and future viability.
The event made one thing clear: today, cybersecurity determines competitiveness, trust, and the ability to act — for businesses as well as for states. We thank all speakers, partners, and participants for the intensive exchange and valuable insights.
