We are very pleased to inform you that the Executive Board of the Cyber Security Council Germany e.V. has appointed Mr. Karl-Heinz Banse, President of the German Firefighters Association (DFV), to the Extended Executive Board.
This appointment comes against the backdrop of growing challenges in civil protection and disaster response – particularly at the crucial intersections with cybersecurity, resilience, and crisis communication.
Mr. Duenn has been a member of the DFV Advisory Board since April 2022, fostering a trusting and highly valuable professional cooperation. With Mr. Banse joining the Extended Executive Board, this partnership will now be strategically deepened, further enhancing and strengthening the synergies between cyber resilience and operational civil protection.
