Cybersecurity influences so much and, above all, we need all perspectives on this not always entirely easy-to-understand topic. Fact is, we must view it holistically and complexly. When we talk about the skills shortage, Security by Design, or awareness among executive boards, we need good and experienced people with a focus on all areas of society. That’s why I particularly thank my colleagues in the Presidium for their excellent cooperation and the willingness to raise awareness in our society for more cybersecurity and resilience. Incidentally, our esteemed colleague Marcus Ewald is missing from the photo of our Presidium Meeting of the Cyber Security Council Germany e.V. (Cyber-Security Council Germany e.V.). He had to urgently take on his duties as a crisis manager. Unfortunately, things always have to move very quickly during a cyberattack, and then it’s essential to communicate correctly.
